Are You Sure You're On The Right Road?

Have you ever stopped to consider that you may be on the wrong road?  If you have made a wrong turn, how will you reach your destination?  There are only TWO roads that a person can take in life;  the narrow road and the broad road.  "Enter ye in at the strait gate:  for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and few there  be that find it." (Matthew :13-14)

Did you catch that?  The broad way leads to destruction (Hell) and MANY are on that way.  The narrow road leads to life (Heaven) and FEW ever find it.  The Bible plainly tell us that most peple are going to Hell and few ever make it to heaven.  This is why you MUST ask yourself this question, "Am I on the right road?"  There will be many on the day of judgment who thought they were on the right road but were deceived.  "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?  And in thy name cast out devils?  And in thy name done many wonderful works?  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you:  depart from me, ye that work iniquity." (Matthew 7:22-23)

Are you among the MANY or the FEW?  The broad road is filled with people who have been baptized, taken communion, prayed, read the Bible, and even preached.  To be on the right road is very simple:

1 - You must realize that you have taken the wrong way.  "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way..." (Isaiah 53:6)

2 - You must know that the wrong way will take you to hell.  "For the wages of sin is death..." (Romans 6:23)

3.  You must believe that Jesus Christ paid for your sins through His death on the cross.  "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree..." (1 Peter 2:24)

4.  You must trust the risen Christ as your Saviour.  "...he that believeth on me hath everlasting life."  (John 6:47)
